Call for Presentations

The ABEL program invites presentation applications for the 2012 ABEL Summer Institute, Changing Learning Cultures: Transforming Practice. 

In keeping with theme presentations that demonstrate the application of effective learning strategies that contribute to new knowledge, and the skills required to change learning cultures and impact practice. By making effective use of technology, the two hour Hands On sessions may include one or more examples of information communications technology (ICT) tool integration as effective teaching practice supporting increased student achievement and engagement. These sessions must demonstrate authentic learning that engages the learning, student, teachers, faculty, staff and leaders.

The one hour Conversation sessions should highlight successes and challenges from the facilitators teaching practice while encouraging participants to share and discuss their own innovative practices, successes and challenges.

Calls for presentations have now closed. The ABEL Summer Institute planning committee would like to thank all presenters for their submissions. The final ASI agenda will be posted on our site by March 30.
